They may not be fun to look at (or smell), but Troll Whiskers are extremely powerful.  While not used by many big wandmakers, I've discovered that adding live moss adds stability to the core, and Dogwood wands are known to be fun and mischievous.  This would be the pranksters ultimate wand!  (sculpted clay/bamboo/moss/rock)
